Happy Boxes Project

Supporting women in the most remote corners of Australia

Smiles are our business

It’s been just over a year since I began volunteering my time to The Happy Boxes Project & it has been an incredible, life changing experience. This was my last shoot as Barefoot Wandering before taking maternity leave, so I ended the season with a bang.

I was lucky enough to do a photoshoot with beautiful Gumbaynggirr models @jayminyaaa and @tiarrataylor_ from Bowraville.

Where does it go?

Your Happy Box may enrich a young women’s wellbeing program or be gifted at an Elder's healing circle. It may end up providing comfort to a woman at a refuge centre or land in the hands of a mum juggling a busy family. These incredible women are the matriarchs guiding and nurturing the wellbeing of their family, their community and their country and we believe they deserve to be pampered. Your Happy Box can make their day, lighten their load and perhaps give them the energy to chase a new dream.
